Helen Robeck, 97, of Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully March 22, 2017. She was born in 1919 to Homer and Nettie Doely in Minot, ND. She moved to Vancouver in the 1940's.
Helen became a Naval nurse and traveled the world. She continued nursing through her life.
Helen married Ed Robeck on Aug. 7, 1945 and together they had three children.
They were longtime members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Helen was always involved in church activities and enjoyed making quilts for the church. She and her husband Ed were instrumental in the construction of David Douglas Park. She also enjoyed painting, ceramics, and bowling.
Helen is survived by her children, Bonnie (Jerry) Weaver and Ronnie (Sandy) Robeck; grandchildren, Darian, Bob, Tim and Jennifer; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Greg; husband, Ed; and granddaughter, Wendy.
A funeral service will be held Tues., April 11, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 309 W. 39th St., Vancouver, WA 98660.
