David Chun

David Martin Chun was born on November 25, 1946 in Vancouver WA to David & Jewel Chun. He graduated from Fort Vancouver in 1964. After graduating he served in the Air Force.
He married Wendy Volgamore on December 7, 1968. They welcomed daughter Dondi, son David Corey, and completed their family with daughter Susan.
David loved being Papa to Cloe, Cooper, Ava, Ellie, Cole & Carter.

He was a talented mechanic known across the area as the man who could build a carburetor and distributor for anything. He could fix anything that the kids needed fixin.
He spent over 50 years in the automotive business. He had a passion for Corvettes. He loved his shop, classic cars, the casino, his dog, and his family.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Wendy; daughter Dondi Bennett (Clint), Ellie & Cole; son David Corey (Traci), Cooper & Carter; daughter Susan and Ava; and his dog, Gracie.
He is also survived by his siblings: Sandy Hart, Mary Reid (Bill), Dennis, and John (Deborah).

He was preceded in death by his; Parents, his sister Debby Langevin, his granddaughter Cloe Beck, and his brother-in-law Gary Hart.

Please join us for an open house on Sunday, July 21st at Super Tune from 2-5 PM. Open mic and Military Honors will begin at 3 PM. David loved drag racing at PIR and supporting Team PIR every fall.
